Concordia opened their Cwmbran office at Llantarnam Park in 1994 with a team of experienced freight forwarders. Within a short space of time, Concordia established a reputation for service excellence and became the first choice freight forwarder for companies exporting and importing in the Torfaen area. Services available encompassed all modes of transport road, sea & air, both abroad and domestic UK freight movements.
Nowadays, with a much larger team, Concordia, Cwmbran still service dozens of companies on the Llantarnam, Springvale, Mamhilad Park, Court Road and Ty Coch Industrial Estates within Torfaen, but also many other companies as far afield as Newport, Cardiff, Bridgend, Port Talbot, Swansea & Llanelli. Concordia has vast experience within the electronics, audiovisual & automotive industries, as well as the more traditional Welsh-based manufacturers of heavy industry.
Concordia has always been a flexible and responsive company and this is especially evident at Cwmbran where we operate a Special Services Department who provide cover for urgent shipments around the clock. As well as monitoring imports and exports, they also organise extremely urgent hand carry shipments. In this instance, our local staff personally accompany important cargo onto passenger aircraft and hand deliver them to clients offices in Europe and around the world. Additionally, our Cwmbran office has 3 people certificated to export dangerous goods both by sea and air and our drivers are trained to the latest safety certification.
